Shri Arjun Roy
Sh. Arjun Rai (Member of Parliament)Arjun Roy is a current Janata Dal (United) Member of Parliament from Sitamarhi (Bihar). He joined the politics in 2005. He had been a member of Committee of Water Resources and Railway Convention Committee.
Salim Arif is an alumnus of the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi. In theatre, he has several production oriented workshops to his credit in a number of places in India. His Dil Chahta Hai , Shyam Rang, Agar Aur Magar, Bayaane Ghalib, Rakt Kalyan, Parwaaze Bayaan Aur, Kachche Lamhe and Aapki Soniya have made him one of the most popular directors of the Hindi theatre scene in India.
Satender Kumar Jain, a businessman, works for poor laborers, old age people, poor students and provide them all possible assistance. He runs a charitable hospital named Sulochana Charitable Hospital. Being a lover of art and culture, Mr. Jain is associated with many organisations working in this field.
Dr. Ripusudan Prasad Shrivastava, former proctor and philosophy department head of B R Ambedkar Bihar University, is known for his contribution in the field of education.
Raj Rajeshwar is an educationist with a vision and has introduced revolutionary ideas in education field. He strongly believes that talent should be searched and nurtured without considering religion, caste, gender, language and reservation.
Lt. Shri S.R Barque was Doctor by profession and latter he tried his hand on writing also as writing was his passion. Mr. Barque‘s origin was “Poonch” a border village of Jammu & Kashmir. Mr. Barque was extremely good with literature. HE served people with his full dedication and devotion, as he used to think that human service is the real prayer of GOD. From past years he was giving his services to all needy people without any consideration. He was posing a Dynamic personality which can be seen in his published books. He was honored Best Urdu Literature Award in 2005 by Urdu Academy Delhi. Some of his Contributions to Urdu are “Sahe – Mehboob”, “Barquo – Shahar” and Barquo – Ashiya”. He had a vast knowledge of Hindu Mythology also. Some of his Hindi Publications are “Sankshipt Ramayan”, Barque Geeta”, Barque Ramayan” and last but not the least “Garur Puran”. His articles were published in all Leading National Urdu Newspapers.
Narayan Kumar has been making significant contribution in the filed of Indian Art, Culture and Hindi literature. After starting as a Hindi professor in Bihar University, he put in his dedicated services to various Indian Union Ministries. His services at Guyana High Commission as a ‘Cultural Head’ will be appreciated all the time.
Pt. Birju Maharaj
Brij mohan Mishra popularly known as Pandit Birju Maharaj is currently the leading exponent of the Lucknow Kalka-Bindadin Gharana of Kathak dance in India. Even though dancing is his first love, he also has an excellent command over Hindustani classical music and is an accomplished vocalist as well. He took Kathak to new heights by choreographing new Kathak dance and dramas. He is also the founder of kalashram. He has toured extensively across the globe, given thousands of performances and held hundreds of workshops for Kathak students. After working along with his uncle, Shambhu Maharaj at Bhartiya Kala Kendra, later the Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, he remained head of the latter, for several years, till his retirement in 1998 when he opened his own dance school, Kalashram, also in Delhi.
Smt. Grace Ashok Thakkar
Smt. Grace Ashok Thakkar started her career as Principle in a convent school in Andhra Pradesh in 1987. She was already on roll to serve the society from her childhood. She is a sincere social worker. She has adopted many families of poor farmers and give her full support from financial to moral countrywide and got the name “Tyag ki Murti” and “Mummy” from people who love her. She is a really a lady with lots of love for all and a real servant of the society.
