Noted shayar Adam Gondavi alias Ramnath Singh passed away at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science Lucknow on Sunday (December 18, 2011). He was 64. He was suffering from severe liver infection under heavy financial crisis.

Shri Gondavi is best known for populist element in his poetry. His two collections ‘Dharti Ki Satah Par’ and ‘Samaye Se Mudhbher’ are valuable assets of  literature. He was born onOctober 22, 1947in village Aata (Paraspur) near Gonda.
